Scope and Acceptance

By using Little Apollo, you consent to the collection, processing, and storage of your data as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.

Data Controller and Data Processor

Little Apollo is operated by WeInnovate, which acts as a Data Controller and Data Processor, depending on the nature of the data collected.

  • For data provided by students and parents, WeInnovate is the Data Controller.

  • For data processed on behalf of business customers, WeInnovate is the Data Processor.

We may also engage third-party sub-processors (detailed below) to support our operations.

Types of Personal Data Collected

Little Apollo collects personal data from both students and parents, including but not limited to:

  • User-provided information: First name, last name, email address, phone number, street address, city, and postal code.

  • Usage data: Page visits, link clicks, time spent on pages, IP addresses, and interactions within the platform.

  • Account and learning data: Student responses, progress tracking, assignments set by parents, and performance insights.

  • Payment information: If applicable, billing details for subscription-based services.

  • Cookies and tracking data: Collected to improve functionality and personalize the user experience.

Some personal data is mandatory for platform functionality. Where optional, users can choose not to provide it without affecting access to core features.


Purpose of Data Collection

We collect personal data for the following purposes:

  • To provide educational services: Deliver diagnostic tests, personalized learning exercises, and automated feedback.

  • To facilitate parental oversight: Enable parents to assign work, review progress, and monitor performance.

Parental Control and Data Deletion

  • Parents have full control over their child’s account and learning activities.

  • Parents can request the deletion of their child’s data at any time by emailing support@littleapollo.com. Upon verification, we will permanently erase the requested data unless retention is required by law.


Data Storage and Retention

  • Personal data is stored securely within Trinidad and Tobago, with some data processed in the US or EU via third-party service providers.

  • Data is retained as long as necessary to fulfill the service or as required by legal obligations.

  • When no longer needed, data is securely deleted or anonymized.


Security Measures

Little Apollo employs industry-standard security practices to safeguard personal information:

  • Encryption: Data is encrypted during transmission and at rest.

  • Access controls: Restricted data access to authorized personnel only.

Third-Party Sub-Processors

  • OpenAI API: Processes educational content, questions, and AI-generated explanations.

These third parties comply with relevant data protection regulations. We do not sell, rent, or lease personal data to third parties.
